early on - short term memory loss,  word finding difficulties, restlessness, anxiety, confusion with attention to time and location

middle stage within 5 years- blunting of emotions that appear as depression or liability of emotions that appear as hostility and anger, difficulties swallowing, completing learned motor skills (use of telephone, bowling, buttoning a coat or shirt), impairment with judgment, calculations and more abstract reasoning, decreased motor movements and facial expressions.

late stage- global decline in cognition, loss of personality, incontinence
